What do we do? The short version: we transform your ideas into words and make sure they hit the mark far and wide! As writers, editors and media relations professionals, we help busy people meet their marketing communication needs and keep them "top of mind" with the people who matter. We like to say, "just leave the words to us."

But wait, there's more! On the public relations side, we can pitch the media to get the story out about you or your business. PR is the crème de la crème of marketing. Think about it: isn't being featured on TV or in print, compared to an ad people know you paid for, much more credible and enticing? You bet it is!

Our media relations services cover more than press releases; we develop the right hooks and PR strategies for your target audience, and pitch the appropriate media contacts for your story.

My name is Wendy Taylor, and I'm the founder and chief wordsmith for Taylor & Scott, inspired communications for busy people. My background consists of 24 years in the corporate arena as a marketing copywriter, publication editor, and media relations professional for TRW, the Los Angeles County Metro (think light-rail and subways), Herbalife, and an HR association called Employers Group.

The 9-to-5-world, however, was only one of my gigs. As a sometimes-crazed multi-tasker, I also did all of the above "on the side" for small businesses, doctors, lawyers, fitness trainers, ministers, musicians and artists -- even a plumber or two! In a moment of sanity (or not) in 2006, I left corporate life entirely to focus on my business, Taylor & Scott, with my marketing colleague and friend, Katherin Scott. Not only is Katherin a fine writer and editor, communication strategist, and HR professional who can turn out a job-winning resume.
