We are a member of Western North Carolina Green Building Council and the National Association of Home Builders specializing in energy-efficient and sustainable construction. Company owner James Pader has received his Certified Green Professional designation, Macon County’s First. Houses are third-party certified to Energy Star and Healthy Built Home standards. A recent project won an award from the North Carolina Home Builder’s Association for Best Affordable Green Home. Our mission is to make sustainable, green building affordable.

Green building begins in the design. A green building is positioned to impact the land as little as possible. Passive solar design reduces heating and cooling loads resulting in smaller, more efficient systems and reduced overall costs. Energy efficiency is the next part of the equation. Our advanced construction technologies produce a house insulated like a refrigerator, further reducing energy consumption. Materials and features are chosen that maximize efficiency.
