Women Building America (WBA) emerged out of a passion for the building and construction industry and a strong desire to support and enhance the industry that has given back so much to so many.
Construction labor shortages will become more common, with an estimated 41% of the current workforce retiring by 2031. To help alleviate workforce development challenges, we launched the WBA to connect with young women, share our passion for our profession, and educate them on opportunities in the construction field.
By creating a space for women in trade careers, we can make a lasting impact in our industry. We aim to help the next generation find meaningful and thriving careers, thereby strengthening the communities we are privileged to serve.
