About

Zavin, formerly known as Navix AI, has rebranded as part of a broader expansion of its product vision for freight forwarding operations. The company is evolving from its original focus on freight CRM, RFQ processing and pricing automation into an AI operating system designed to coordinate work across the full forwarding lifecycle.

Freight forwarding teams still manage a significant share of their daily work through email, spreadsheets and disconnected operational systems. RFQs arrive in inboxes, rates are collected across multiple sources, bookings require information to be re-entered into operational systems, and shipment updates often create additional manual follow-up.

Zavin is designed to sit across those workflows rather than automate only one isolated task. The platform reads inbound emails, extracts shipment information, collects and compares rates, prepares margin-aware quotes, creates shipments from booking confirmations, organizes documents and pushes tracking information to customers. It also provides role-based permissions, approval controls and audit trails for AI-driven actions.

The platform is designed to work alongside existing freight systems including CargoWise and Magaya rather than requiring forwarders to replace their current TMS. Zavin also supports carrier connectivity through EDI and API integrations.

According to figures published by Zavin from active pilot deployments, inbound RFQs can be converted into quotes in under 30 seconds, while approximately half of routine email volume can be handled end-to-end by AI. The company also reports implementations going live in under 14 days, although results vary by operation and workflow configuration.

“Freight software has traditionally been very good at recording what already happened, while much of the actual work still happens in email,” said Ahmed Bilal, Founder and CEO of Zavin. “Zavin is being built as the operating layer that moves that work forward, from an inbound request to a quote, shipment and customer update, while operators retain control over the decisions that matter.”

Zavin is currently being developed with freight forwarders processing live RFQs, rate traffic and shipments. The company is headquartered in Dubai and focuses on freight forwarders, NVOCCs and logistics operators seeking to automate repetitive operational work without undertaking a full system migration.
