The Zunker Christmas Gift Exchange Game
The History of my Grandpa Zunker's Christmas Gift Exchange Game...
Every family has their special traditions for the Christmas Holiday. My family celebrates Christmas each year with a Christmas Gift Exchange Game we called "the dice game."
It has been in the family since the early 1950s. My Grandfather, Otto Zunker, a German immigrant, made the dice and introduced us to the game. He wanted to encourage the entire family to spend time together and share in the Christmas spirit.
I remember spending hours in Grandpa Zunker's workshop watching him tinker away as he entertained his granddaughter (me) and made toys for everyone. I have fond memories of a hard working engineer who spent his retirement years helping raise his grandchildren.
A few years ago, I was hosting a Christmas Party but the dots on the dice that Grandpa Zunker made for me were too old and worn to see anymore. I decided to make a new set of dice for my family as a tribute to my Grandpa Zunker. My friends were so impressed with Grandpa Zunker's gift exchange dice game that they begged me to make some for their families and friends. The requests for what they called "Zunker Dice" never stopped, which led to the package you now hold.
I know that Grandpa Zunker will smile when the joy of his game spreads to your family, friends, and co-workers.
