CSRSI provides independent consulting for the acceptance of electronic payments. In our 10 years of service to over 1700 clients, our purpose is to act as our clients’ advocate to assess, recommend and supervise implementation of programs to reduce liability, fraud, cost and improve value, compliance and security across physical and technological systems with correct policies and procedures.
While we provide answers to 1,000s of specific needs and questions, we have a four-pronged core group of services.
1) RFP Bidding of Merchant Services: We have saved our clients money on every RFP engagement while revamping their package of merchant processing services to best serve THEIR needs as we put these services out for bid on an RFP basis. As an independent advocate, we are predisposed to help our clients, not the processor.
2) PII Flow Diagram: Securing personally identifiable information has become a big priority to government and therefore to companies. Wherever social security, driver’s license, bank and credit card numbers and DOB are collected, a complete trail of the lifecycle of both physical and electronic information is documented to seek out weakness for remediation.
3) Fraud, Error and Cost detection by monitoring: Our monitoring services use merchant statements to
a) track processor errors for correction,
b) examine red flags of internal and external fraud
c) seek out unusual measurements and ratios of chargebacks, unmatched debits, downgrades that require additional policies, enforcement, and the like to keep costs and fraud down.
4) Comprehensive Evaluation: A stem to stern GAAP analysis and evaluation of the handling of consumer data across merchant Ids, locations, terminals, call center, including PCI and PII compliance, cost and risk management.
