Accutek Testing Laboratory is a diverse and innovative mechanical testing facility that goes beyond the traditional boundaries of testing to create a better way of meeting our customers’ requirements. Our facilities, located in Cincinnati, OH, have been designed to accommodate our clients' mechanical and metallurgical testing requirements and product performance interpretation and evaluation needs. Accutek is accredited by both A2LA (ISO 17025) and NADCAP, and is an ASTM committee member.

Mechanical Testing
Accutek's mechanical testing qualifications include:

   * - Hardness (micro to Brinell, including Shore A)

Depending on your requirements, testing can be performed to organization (ISO, ASTM, NAS, AWS, ASME, etc.) protocols. Test procedures can be customized to client product requirements for use in gaining regulatory approval or meeting product performance goals. Computer supported data acquisition programs and equipment allow for accurate and efficient documentation to support test results.

Metallurgical Testing
Accutek's testing facility performs regular microstructure evaluations up to 2000X. Utilizing our color digital microphotography and our experienced staff, Accutek provides precise and economical results for your organization's immediate use and meet your metallography needs.

Failure Evaluation
Accutek performs dozens of failure evaluations every year involving various metals, coatings, assemblies and weldments.

Our diagnostic equipment and experienced staff allow us to perform effecient and timely discovery in our lab. Initial testing is agreed upon and performed after a thorough discussion with the client.

Our goal is to keep the failure evaluation short, direct and economical for our client.

Weld Qualification
Accutek has a full-time Certified Welding Inspector on staff with over 20 years experience and a network of welding professionals to assist you in determining your welding qualification needs in an efficient and timely manner.

Our metal joining experts are available to assist you in many welding processes including GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, TB, LBW, etc.

Specialties include aluminum conductor, brazing, and ASME/AWS procedures.

Medical Device Testing
Accutek performs static and dynamic medical implant testing on a regular basis:

All testing is performed on site.

Fracture Mechanics
Accutek Testing Laboratory offers fracture mechanics testing to provide the information necessary to improve the mechanical performance of materials and components for the aerospace industry and many others. Our experienced staff and state of the art equipment can supply the data needed to predict fatigue crack growth.
