Aderra is a new kind of senior living community developed by TKG Developments, designed for adults 62 and older who want to own their homes while still receiving the support and services typically found in a traditional senior community. Residents purchase their homes — priced from the low $300,000s — and pay a monthly membership fee covering housekeeping, transportation, home and yard maintenance, utilities, and daily chef-prepared meals. Because residents hold the deed, they build equity in a home they can pass down to family, something most senior living models don't offer.

The first Aderra community, Aderra at Audubon, is being built in the Heron Run district of the Audubon master-planned community in Magnolia, Texas, just outside Houston. Model homes are set to open in July, with future phases planned to include a memory care community so residents can stay in place even as their care needs change.

Aderra is led by TKG Developments, with Kip Dornhorst serving as Executive Director and Clayton Dornhorst as Vice President. Jeremiah Mohr serves as Marketing Director, bringing 15 years of senior housing marketing experience to the team.
