The African Woman Foundation (AWF) aims to promote healthcare for women in developing countries through projects that include both medical care and the protection of women’s rights. The AWF is a non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It is supported and funded by volunteers from the academic world, NGOs, and trade & industry.
