After All Slippers

After All Slippers is an emerging company that has been in business since May 2010, but recently launched its online boutique. The company and online store offer foldable ballet flats and flip flops which are affordable, eco-friendly and very foot-friendly.

The foldable slippers aim at providing women with a backup solution after wearing stilettos all day, all night.  According to the company’s owner, Kim Tran, “We launched after all slippers for the modern woman! The idea behind After All Slippers came to her after a bachelorette party in Las Vegas. As she was wary of wearing high heels throughout what was to be a long night, she decided to keep a pair of regular flip flops in her bag. That turned out to be a great decision, for as her friends complained about their aching feet and danced barefoot most of the night, she was able to slip into her flip flops and enjoyed the evening without the dreaded foot pain and the grime of the club floors.

After discovering that foldable and reusable ballet flats and flip flops existed for high prices, she decided to cater women’s soles’ needs and provide high quality footwear for a fraction of the price. After All Slippers’ foldable ballet flats are made of two separate soles – a flexible rubber outer sole that can last through hours of walking on even rough terrains, and a flexible inner sole that provides support and comfort. Both soles make the shoes durable, flexible and resilient and at $13.40 per pair. The ballet flats also come with two drawstring bags and a beautiful gift bag.

As for the foldable flip flops, After All Slippers provides high grade recycled EVA flip flops with innovative skid-resistant bottoms [the soles of their flip flops are even thicker than most foldable ballet flats on the market that retail for $30]. EVA, or Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, is a dense foam which is used in the athletic footwear industry in shock-absorbent shoes.  Aside from that, whereas most companies offer foldable flip flops for $15-$20 per pair, the company offers three pairs for under $8.

In spite of their low prices and great functionality, the footwear is definitely attractive enough for women to wear anywhere. The slippers will provide women with comfort at work, special nights out, while driving, while traveling and even during formal events.
The new on-line boutique will provide women with both foldable ballet flats and foldable flip flops, and, according to the company’s spokesperson, it will offer a new collection of ballet flats with snake skin patterns by the name of the Exotic Collection. In addition, more flip flops will be added, especially those with rhinestones on them.
