Ashley Hammac is running for Indiana House of Representative District 16 to inspire other common citizens to run for office so that we can have a government that serves the people instead of a select group of friends and donors. He is fighting for transparent politics, holding corrupt politicians accountable, and removing corporate influences from the political process. He believes we should reluctantly elect normal citizens who are reluctantly willing to serve in public office and immediately hold themselves and other politicians accountable to the same standard as any other citizen. He believes in preserving local rule and that politicians who try to circumvent local rule should be examined to uncover who or what entity influenced them. Ashley believes that public matters must be only discussed in public by public officials and that any signing non-disclosure agreements by public officials is a breach of public trust. Ashley believes in preserving the rural and agricultural character of Indiana and that in deciding the fate of large projects which impact the community, local communities should have the final say. Ashley believes in preserving farmland and building a strong, local agricultural supply chain in district 16. Ashley believes that conserving natural resources is critical in protecting rural communities since these are the resources that sustain us. Join Ashley in the fight to save this country while we still can!
