American Leadership Academy is a k-8 charter school located in Gilbert, Arizona.  It has an accelerate curriculum.  American Leadership Academy opened its doors in 2009.  Its vision is developing leaders through education and service. The charter school received Covey Lighthouse status in 2011.    In order to achieve this status, they teach their students the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People developed by Stephen R. Covey.
