Houston — 12-20-2020 — The Almeda Outdoor Market and Food Truck Court, located at 9944 Kleckley Dr. Houston, TX 77075, is having its grand opening on 12-26/27-2020 from 10 am – 5 pm. This market will be a Community and Cultural gathering of local vendors, food trucks and community resources.
Almeda Outdoor Market is an extension of Royal Palace, an established banquet hall in South Houston. Royal Palace converted over an acre behind its property into a fenced area that is graveled for the food trucks and turfed for the vendors. This is not only a major investment for the owners but for the rich culture of South Houston, which includes Sagemont, Hobby, Pasadena and the neighboring cities of Pearland, Friendswood, Clear Lake and Alvin.
The goal is to provide a weekend market for established and emerging businesses. There will be weekly incentives for vendors and an established “Kids Corner” for children business owners. The Almeda Outdoor Market will give these weekend spaces to the children entrepreneur for free and they will have a dedicated space. The Almeda Outdoor Market believes that investing in the youth is an invaluable contribution to the community with an immeasurable payoff.
