About

An original take on the reign of the forty-fifth president, TRUMPED: An Alternative Musical is a two-act satirical play that parodies the 2016 Presidential Election campaign of Donald J. Trump and his subsequent first year in office as "the most powerful man in the world".

Opening on the final day of the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, just moments before Donald Trump’s acceptance speech for the party’s Presidential nomination, Act I: The Campaign tells the story behind his campaign’s journey from the year’s outsider to the unexpected winner of the electoral college.

Covering the Russia meeting, the three debates with the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton, and the attempts made by the Russian President, Vladamir Putin, to personally ensure a win for Trump in the midwest, the first act concludes at the end of November 8, election day.

With the election over and Donald Trump set to be the United States’ forty-fifth “President”, Act II: The Presidency opens the day following the election when both the world and indeed the current President, are still in shock at the previous day’s result.

Concluding towards the end of 2017, the second act covers the inauguration, a brutal (but honest) visit to the White House by German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, and the eventual collapse of the Trump regime brought about through the wit of Robert Mueller, the actions of Donald Trump Junior, and the gullibility of his brother, Eric Trump.

From Eric Trump to Anderson Cooper, Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama, John Oliver to Sarah Palin, TRUMPED: An Alternative Musical satirizes the faces you know from all sides.

Featuring 62 individual characters and hundreds of individual jokes, gags, puns and satirical one-liners presented by a company of fifteen, TRUMPED: An Alternative Musical is a show where no-one is spared.
