About

Hi, I'm Andrew. I'm a foreigner volunteer for local hospital located in New Delhi and facilities are getting overrun just like in other hospitals around the country leading to the lack of medical infrastructure due to large demand for beds and health care by Covid patients and the ones with respiratory symptoms. In majority of places vaccine is not available anymore leading to huge danger of further raise of Covid positive cases resulting in increasing number of deaths. Hospitals and temporary shelters are overcrowded and new world recorded quantity of cases can be barely still treated. According to current situation, India is the epicenter of the pandemic and as agreed by the team of doctors, I'm asking for your help.

Three variants of the viruses were recorded and that makes the action against Covid even more complex and the official reports by the journalists are lower and not matching what is actually seen on the streets.

Donated money would be used in a shortage of medical supply with larger orders of more vaccine, more hospital beds, ventilators - people can barely breath, oxygen, accurate tracking and testing of symptoms, extra transport services (ambulances), accelerating distribution of supplies, food, etc. There is in average, around an entire country, one doctor per 1,500 citizens. However, large percentage are Covid positive. A light of hope is the fact that foreign doctors are arriving to help but there aren't enough facilities. In the past week, one death has been recorded every five minutes. A part of donated money would relieve crematoriums. Bodies are piling up faster than ever.

Donated money will be transferred and deposited to health care fund and separated accounts of hospitals and from there used for:

1) investment into additional facilities with needed equipment
2) orders of vaccines
3) strengthening of crematoriums capacities

leading to have valuable impact of your contribution because upcoming spread would be more controllable, patients won't be declined anymore and they will be cured faster. Expected result is also a drop of new Covid cases.

By statistics, a need for oxygen has raised from end of January 2021 to end of April 2021 for almost 700%.

Due to economic status of India, the country cannot financially support itself like some of other countries may which is additional sign of importance of donation campaign.

Anything you could afford to donate is very welcome!
