Animals’ Angels, Inc., a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Maryland, has been a leading force behind the fight to end horse slaughter since 2007.   We live by our mission statement:  “We are there with the animals.”    Animals’ Angels, Inc. conducts investigations into the treatment of farm animals and horses by documenting the conditions at livestock auctions, slaughterhouses, during transport, and more.  

Our documented reports and video footage are provided to the news media and the public to raise awareness of the plight of livestock and horses bound for slaughter. We also share documentation of cruelty with law enforcement to ensure that violators of animal protection laws are being held responsible for their actions.  Animals’ Angels, Inc. cooperates closely with auction managers, transport companies and numerous authorities (police, veterinarians and the United States Department of Agriculture).
