Annemarie E. Kill is a partner in the Chicago law firm of Avery Camerlingo Kill, LLC, where she concentrates her practice in family law and employment law.  She has represented a wide-range of clients from very high net worth individuals to those with more modest assets.  Ms. Kill provides legal representation of unparalleled quality while remaining deeply committed to using each client's resources wisely, whether they by extensive or more limited.  She is skilled at determining the best way to obtain success for her clients and critically analyzes each case in order to tailor her services and effectively achieve each client’s unique goals.  She has significant experience involving employee benefits, stock options, stock grants, and retirement plans, and their division upon a divorce.

She has also recently been named one of the Best Lawyers in America.   Ms. Kill has given numerous lectures regarding the practice of family law, specifically the division of retirement benefits incident to divorce.  She is very active in the Illinois State Bar Association where she was elected to the Assembly and has held numerous leadership positions.   She provides pro bono services through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, the Center for Disability and Elder Law and the Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic.   Ms. Kill is a board member of the DePaul College of Law Family Law Center, and a member of the Women’s Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, and the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.  She is a former fellow of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, and a past president of the Grandfamilies Program of Chicago.

Ms. Kill has practiced at all levels of the state and federal courts, including successfully litigating a case at the U.S. Supreme Court.  She is a member of the federal trial bar and is licensed to practice in Illinois, the Northern District of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
