Based in Los Angeles, ANSON is redefining alternative pop-rock with a modern emo revival, drawing on influences from the 2000s while speaking directly to today’s listeners. His music connects deeply with fans who grew up on emotional honesty and crave fresh, unfiltered storytelling. With a sound that marries cinematic production, raw vulnerability, and hook-laced melodies, ANSON builds emotional landscapes where quiet desperation meets cathartic release.
His latest single, “Up All Night” channels the restless energy of nights spent replaying memories, pacing under dark ceilings, haunted by silence and loss. The lyrics, “staring at the ceiling … I can’t escape your favorite song … your silence is the death of me”, reveals a songwriter unafraid to expose the ache behind the longing.
Growing up, Anson was surrounded by music. He started learning guitar at the age of five and quickly began devoting his time to mastering the art of songwriting. He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, also known as "The Fame School" where he further honed in on his artistry.
After many adventures in failed projects, he created ANSON in hopes of a better path forward in his career. In 2017, ANSON debuted with the EP "To Be or Nothing at All" which helped garner a strong global fan base. The lead single "Hailey" amassed millions of streams which led to a record deal with independent label We Are Triumphant.
His debut LP "a note for you to find..." released in 2021 and was the cover of Spotify's New Punk Tracks playlist. ANSON parted ways with his former label in 2022 to become an independent artist again which led to the release of his EP "Bad Taste" in 2024.
Following a string of successful releases that earned hundreds of thousands of streams and placements on key Spotify playlists, ANSON continues to build momentum with “Up All Night.” The single highlights his evolution as both a songwriter and a performer, offering fans a track that feels both intimate and stadium-ready.
