About

The Marshlanders Trilogy provides a good read about a troubling subject.  What is the relationship between money and morality?  When is technology used for good, and when for evil?  Can traditional healing practices co-exist with modern medicine? Annis Pratt's characters live in self-sustaining communities threatened by venture capitalists who want to drain their wetlands(they were actually called "Adventure Capitalists" in seventeenth century England).
Based on the draining of the East Anglian Fens which was successfully undercut by the Fen Tigers so that it took three hundred years to finally carry out, The Marshlanders Trilogy raises important questions about the environmental issues of our times.
The first volume was published in 2010 by iUniverse, and is available at amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and iuniverse.com in both paperback and Ebook formats. The second volume, Cedar Haven; and the third volume, The Battle for the Marshlands, are in final draft.

The author is looking for an agent to market the two sequels and the trilogy as a whole boxed set.
