About

Ashley McEachern is a dynamic and positive individual driven by those who inspire her and her pursuit to inspire others. She has followed her dreams to travel the world by completing her Masters thesis in International Relations, writing as a political journalist and content developer for businesses and teaching yoga and meditation. Ashley currently works as a digital strategist, content writer, brand consultant and a yoga teacher trainer, based in Toronto, Ontario.

Ashley teaches deeply transformational yoga practices infused with self-love and strength. Ashley has taught yoga in over ten countries and has pioneered online and aromatherapy yin yoga classes in Toronto.

She discovered yoga after completing my MA in International Development and working with some of the world’s most at-risk populations. It was during a Yoga Teacher Training in the Sacred Valley of Peru where she realized how self-awareness, mindfulness and higher consciousness is the path towards truly eradicating disease, poverty and exploitation, both in Canada and across the globe. It was there where she realized that the journey to peace begins with each individual.

Ashley truly believes that yoga is part of a greater path to inner and outer strength, patience, play and peace. Her classes and retreats are taught with a deep compassion for each student’s individual situation and are often described as inspiring, challenging and awakening experiences.

Her primary teachers include Thomas Myers, Rachel Scott, Lisa Messina, and Leslie Kaminoff, Bernie Clark, Sarah Powers and Chaitanya Nitai Das.

She was awarded as one of the Top 20 Yoga Teachers in Toronto three years in a row, has been featured in Tonic Magazine, Yoga International and Yogitimes.
