About |
Whether she is singing and performing, raising money to help veterans, or donating her time to animal welfare organizations, ASHLEY WINELAND is leaving an impression on everyone whose path she crosses. The Country artist from Glendale, Arizona, became fascinated by storytelling through music after her father gifted her studio recording time for her 13th birthday. This was the beginning of what would develop into a full-fledged, full time music career.
Ashley first made a splash in the Southwestern music scene with the release of her patriotic song, “Red, White & Blue”, which honored the men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces. The video for the song quickly racked up over 50,000 hits on her YouTube channel—and Ashley made the decision to donate all of the song's proceeds to various charities supporting our country’s veterans. She quickly realized that her music could be a catalyst to raise awareness for this and another cause close to her heart--animal rights. To date, she has worked tirelessly volunteering for numerous charities—lending her voice and her time to support their platforms.
Her critically-acclaimed debut CD, “Family Business”, featuring her original compositions, garnered significant airplay on radio stations worldwide. However, it was her live performances and engaging stage presence that caught the attention of the music industry…and some significant endorsements--Ashley was named the very first “Alvarez Breakthrough Artist”, with Corral Boots soon following signing Ashley as one of their celebrity spokespeople.
Ashley quickly became a frequent guest on television and radio shows and often is the subject of print media. She graced cover of the global music publication ION Indie Magazine in December 2014 and appeared inside in a feature article, and has been the subject of many other newspaper articles and music blogs. A favorite on the festival circuit, Ashley has appeared at Ostrich Festival (supporting Parmalee), West Valley Fair and Music Fest (supporting John Michael Montgomery), Road to Country Thunder and Country Thunder. She also headlined at the legendary Country venue Reo Palm Isle in Longview, Texas—on whose stages have performed icons such as Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, and a plethora of other music icons.
Her follow-up video to “Red, White and Blue”, “No Prince Charming”, was filmed in her beloved Arizona, with the Superstition Mountains serving as a scenic backdrop. In keeping with the storytelling aspect of Country music, “No Prince Charming” depicted the timeless tale of “Good Cowboy versus Bad Cowboy”. This classic theme resounded with her fans--as “No Prince Charming” debuted at Number 2 on iTunes “Best New Country Music”. And when you are talking “numbers” in relation to Ashley Wineland—her social media following has surpassed 120,000 fans. She also recently realized an immensely impressive reach of over 1 million on Facebook!
An Official CMT Artist and now National Recording Artist, Ashley looks forward to having her music reach a larger audience and growing her fan base even larger, booking more appearances, continuing to write music and taking the next exciting steps in her journey!
