ASOMIVA (Asociación de Mineros del Vaupés) is a community mining association representing artisanal miners in Taraira, Vaupés, Colombia. Founded in 1990, the association holds Mining Title 4448A, a 30-year concession granted by the Colombian National Mining Agency covering 362 hectares in the Taraira Gold Belt of the Guiana Shield. The deposit features an exceptional gold grade of 21.3 g/t with proven reserves of approximately 135,850 metric tonnes containing an estimated 93,000 ounces of gold. ASOMIVA operates using low-impact underground extraction methods with full environmental licensing, and works in coordination with the Vaupés Department Government and indigenous community councils. In partnership with GoldenEx, the association is modernizing its operation through a gold-backed digital asset framework to bring institutional-grade investment access to this verified resource.
