About

AZDroneFest is the first Arizona Drone Film Festival and Family Event to celebrate and promote the art of aerial cinematography in the state.

The goal of AzDroneFest is to celebrate, promote and cultivate the art of aerial cinematography in Arizona. "We saw a great opportunity to promote our love of flying drones and aerial cinematography by creating the first Drone Film Festival in Arizona,” explains Chris Tinard, Director of AzDroneFest. “We wanted to not only showcase the best in aerial cinematography but also create a family-friendly environment where kids and adults alike could experience flying drones, and see how drones are being used in different aspects of everyday life with demonstrations from different agencies like first responders. With partners like DJI Arizona and Grand Canyon University, we are excited to celebrate local and worldwide talent in aerial cinematography and to hopefully inspire the next generation of drone pilots."

AzDroneFest is presented by Flying with Cameras drone workshops in cooperation with DJI Arizona/ Innovative UAS and hosted on the Grand Canyon University campus in Phoenix.
