Balance Fitness is a personal training and fitness education company. Owner Mubarakah Ibrahim is an internationally known certified personal trainer and weight loss expert who has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Front Pages of the Chicago Tribute, Hartford Current and The New Haven Advocate. She has created a workout for women over 40 for Prevention magazine and was honored in 2012 and 2013 as an invited guest to the White House to have dinner with President Obama.
Her studio is built around whole-fitness: Physical, mental and spiritual wellness is intertwined, the weakness of one weakens them all and the strengthening of one strengthens them all. It is with this philosophy she has helped thousands of womenose weight, get fit, toned, strenghthen, prepare for their wedding, get their "after baby body back" and stay healthy during their pregnancy.
Balance Fitness Studio is the home of a team of fitness trainers all who hold nationally recognized certifications and/or BA in exercise related fields. Including AFAA, NASM, and WITTS personal trainer certifications, AFAA group fitness, group resistance training, pre/post Natal and Mat Science Beginners and Advanced for Mat based Yoga and Pilates Exercises. Their fitness and nutritional approach to weight loss has been so success that they guarantee results.
