The Belleair Grill and Wine Bar was the first restaurant in Florida to achieve a "green restaurant" certification from the Green Restaurant Association on March 31, 2008. Leading the eco-friendly charge, Belleair Grill and Wine Bar implemented a number of environmentally-friendly practices in accordance with the Green Restaurant Association’s rigorous guidelines.

The Belleair Grill and Wine Bar also works with local fish vendors to insure it serves only seafood that’s deemed safe and sustainable by the Blue Ocean Institute.
