About

Biospherical instruments (BSI) in a research and development manufacturer of scientific instruments for research, industry and defense applications. BSI offers a wide range of sensor packages including both submersible and terrestrial micro radiometry packages. Our flagship product is our Q-series (Quantum-series) PAR optical sensors. These are compact, rugged and affordable ways to measure scalar and cosine irradiance on land or immersible down to 2000 m. They are designed to be easily integrated into our holistic monitoring packages. For terrestrial use, our sensors are well coupled with our BioMAST system; a military grade portable array mount to increase sensor elevation up to 25ft with minimal movement even when stationed on ships and land-vehicles. For natural waterway operations, BSI offers three types of profiling system, a free-falling model, for hand-off data collection, along with 2 remotely operated options to collect optical data in a precise target area. Our advanced model, the HyOPS ADVSR, has a digital thruster backplane to auto-stabilize the profiling system to achieve high quality data within a precise targeted area. BSI is also quickly expanding their catalogue as the first verified reseller in the United States for the French company RTsys. They are distributing and integrating their line of Micro AUVS, the NemoSens and Comet 300, to provide American consumers with a programmable long endurance method of environmental surveying. BSI is excited to continue the expansion of their catalog through the integration of micro flow gas sensors, IoT hyperspectral sensors, and tactical USVs.
