About

Hunters Friend Resort is a family owned resort located on Indian Point in Branson, MO. Our resort features everything from kitchenettes to condos all located on Table Rock Lake.

Our resort is ideal for the family on a budget who would rather spend their money at theme parks, concerts, or dining out rather than on a bed. Don't let the affordable price fool you though. We work hard for your business and want you to feel like you have had the best time on vacation of anywhere you have ever travelled.

Our kitchenettes are approximately 450 square feet and rent for as little as $55 a night. Our Branson condos are approximately 1800 square feet and rent for as little as $149 a night. The condos are ideal for families with up to 12 people as many of our condos come with bunkbeds.

Our resort is divided up into 3 properties.

The first is the actual headquarters of the operation and is the closest of all 3 to Indian Point Marina. Established in 1972, Hunter's Friend has been providing affordable extended stays to 1,000s upon 1,000s of families for the past 4 decades. Even though it is 40 years old, the resort is one of the most technologically advanced resorts in Branson. Our resort in 2003 became the first resort in Branson to offer high speed internet in every room for free. We eventually carried that over to our condos as well.

All rooms at Hunters Friend come standard with HDTVs, DVD players, free wi-fi and much more. Every room also comes complete with a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker. The kitchenettes are a bit bigger than the motel style room and come with a rangetop stove, full size refrigerator, all pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. The resort also features free gas BBQ grills for our guests to use at their leisure.

Our Table Rock Sunset Condos were built in 2005 and have been a HUGE repeat business for us. Every condo is 1800 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Every condo can sleep at a minimum 8 people. Several of the condos also come with a free provided boatslip which has been a major draw for our customers.

Our Rockwood Resort condos are the newest addition we have to our stable. Identical in square footage and layout to our Table Rock condos, the primary difference between the 2 resorts is that Rockwood's boat dock is right on site whereas Table Rock's dock is about 400 yards away at Indian Point Marina.

Additionally, the pool is significantly larger at Rockwood which is a great feature as well. All condos at Rockwood are required to have flat panel televisions with nothing less than a 42" in the living room. Rockwood condos also are required to have front loading washers and dryers in all units.

All of our resorts are within 2.5 miles of Silver Dollar City - one of the premiere amusement parks in the United States.  Established 51 years ago, Silver Dollar City continues to dominate the southwestern area of Missouri for it's incredible family atmosphere and fun times. Visitors to the parks are continually finding new festivals to attend and partake in. Everything from the young Christians weekend all the way down to An Old Time Christmas. Nothing is left out througout the year when it comes to Silver Dollar City.

Our resorts are also home to one of the most pristine lakes in America, affectionately known as Table Rock Lake. This lake has more than 800 miles of shoreline and is the largest body of water of the 4 interconneting lakes. Our resort also sits on the largest part of Table Rock Lake about 1 mile from the dam.

Hunters Friend is surrounded by incredible restaurants offering everything from authentic German food at Altenhoff Inn to sumptuous meals cooked at the Indian Point Restaurant. Additionally, there is the Floating Cafe at Indian Point Marina which is brand new and offers everything from Walleye to Omelettes. In other words, if you can't find it at one of these places, you can't find it at all.

There is also only 1 grocery store on Indian Point and it is located directly across from our office. With hours of operation from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. it is one of the best kept secrets of the Branson area.
