Lightword publishes “The Mindquest Review Of Books,” recommendations and reviews of unusually brilliant works selected from submissions of recent, noteworthy books from small press and self-published authors. The submitter incurred no charge or obligation for a recommendation and review.
“Mindquest,” published six to eight times a year, is emerging as a leading authority for recommendations to the buying public and to media sources providing publicity and reviews for noteworthy works.

“Mindquest” is snail-mailed across the USA to selected publications and newspapers, with major circulations, publishing book reviews. In addition, “Mindquest” is mailed to selected television/radio show hosts and production companies. The Senior Editor stays in touch by phone and mail with many of the contacts on the mailing list encouraging each to review or provide no-charge publicity for recommended works.
In association with a California TV/radio production company, producing 500 + shows since 1989, the Lightword Media Division is assisting in the promotion and production of TV and radio shows for clients.
Founded 1991, Lightword provides publicity, promotion and other services for recommended works. The recommended books were submitted by the smaller publishers, and self-published authors whose noteworthy creations are generally overlooked by the mainstream media.
The Senior Editor/Owner, Bernie P. Nelson, has a thirty year plus background in publishing, writing, sales management, publicity, and promotions. Since 1991, he has launched effective book services and promotions. In 1984, Bernie was commissioned, by Governor Martha Layne Collins, a “Kentucky Colonel” for assisting university students with journalism and helping them to publish “The Eagle Bone Whistle.”
