About

Heather Wallace is a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist (ESMT),  Certified Canine Massage Therapist (CCMT), and Aromatherapist working diligently to reveal to the world the benefits of natural therapies for animals. While Heather is confident at work, she struggles with confidence in the saddle. Heather left riding due to anxiety as a teenager and returned as an adult after having her first child. Follow Heather’s journey as The Timid Rider while she struggles to let passion be greater than her fear.

Heather is also the Content Manager and a regular writer for EquineInfoExchange.com and contributes to many publications including Sidelines Magazine, and Holistic Horse Magazine. Her first book, Equestrian Handbook of Excuses, was a 2017 Literary Selection for the Equus Film Festival.  Her second book, Confessions of a Timid Rider, which details her insights about being an anxiety-ridden but passionate equestrian is an Amazon bestselling book.  In her spare time (of which she has little),  she spends her time with her husband, three children, two dogs, and pony. You can follow her on social media @timidrider or at timidrider.com.
