Dr. Uchechi Wosu opens a premier homecare company, Brighthope Homecare in Northern, VA

Physician and health coach Wosu brings her expertise to the homecare arena

LORTON, Va. – Author, physician and health coach Uchechi Wosu opens innovative homecare agency providing clients with concierge style service while attending to their home care needs.

Wosu, who is partnering with her husband Chi in this venture, seeks to address the nation’s growing elderly population by providing non-medical in home care allowing clients to age or recover at home with dignity and in a secure and safe environment.

She approaches caregiving using the 4 R’s – preventing re-hospitalization, re-injury, retarding disease progression, and reconciling medications.  Using the lens of a physician, she is able to prevent a variety of health related complications with her astute support staff who are trained to monitor chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, stroke, COPD, dementia, and hypertension.

Wosu and team go beyond pure companion care and delve into the physical, social and mental well-being of each and every client.  With an invaluable specialist database and a host of community resources, Brighthope Homecare is able to provide exactly what the client needs on an individualized basis.

Using a collaborative approach, the clients’ family, primary care physician, and Brighthope team work together to provide an exceptional patient care experience.
