Calacus public relations agency was established in 2007 by David Alexander, who has a wealth of experience as a sports PR consultant. Calacus also specialise in charity pr and corporate PR.

A sports journalist for the Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian, The Times and BBC for almost a decade, David has a wealth of sports public relations experience.

He worked on the international communications campaign for the Paris 2012 Olympic bid and then successfully helped South Korean City Daegu win the 2011 IAAF World Athletic Championships.

He supported the RFU in their dispute with Premier League Rugby and also ran the Football Association’s ‘Altogether Now’ campaign with Ray Winstone to promote good behaviour at the FIFA 2006 World Cup and Brentford FC’s takeover by Bees United with former BBC Director General Greg Dyke as chairman. David also worked on Gillette’s international ‘Champions’ campaign.
