About

CCI was established in 1955 with the development of a small Community Access Television System (CATV) in Iron Mountain, MI.

Throughout 30 years, CCI expanded the original system to include more than 39 cable systems, five broadcast stations, 50 radio stations and one of the nation’s largest terrestrial microwave systems. While the communication industry developed, CCI gained experience to become an industry expert in design, construction and maintenance of communication systems as well as the rollout of new technologies and services.

The tradition of high standards and excellence of execution remains today. CCI’s employee owners eagerly take up the challenge of today’s converging technologies as they deploy the latest in advanced optical, network and broadband services to an ever expanding client base.
