About

olivejuice Designs came about 11 years after the death of my daughter from Melanoma.  I struggled for 11 years to figure out what I was supposed to do with her death. Isn't something good supposed to come from a tragedy?  I wanted to record her life and the memories I have about her, but couldn’t find anything like that, so I wrote the journal myself.  Once that was complete I wanted everyone to be able to record the life of someone they loved.  I opened olivejuice Designs so anyone could have that same opportunity.   With this journal anyone can be a story teller.  There are prompts on each page to help.  Things like: where they were born, where they grew up, schools, likes, dislikes, and words they lived by is just a small example.  Once completed; this journal will become a treasured book that will be passed down from generation to generation.  Other sympathy gifts include a photo scrapbook journal, memory boxes, and book marks with your choice of Swarovski crystal birthstone, photo tag, hand stamped name disc, or guardian angel theme. Visit our olivejuice designs message board and leave a memorial with or without a picture for your loved one. You can find cancer information and inspiring stories of hope and survival.  We hope our newly added blog will give you a diversion (which we all need).  Authored by four contributors with different personalities it will be an eclectic mix of reflections.
We hope that in some small we can help to heal your grief.

Since olivejuice Designs has opened I've been moved more then ever to do what I can to help educate people about the danger of sun exposure, tanning beds, and the importance of taking an active part in your health care.  (My daughter was mis-diagnosed by a dermatologist).
I'm doing this through a series of "mini web-sites".  http://www.squidoo.com/melanoma-information
I hope you’ll take the time to visit that site and read the information there.  It could save your life or that of someone you love.
