Paul Weiss, PT, Dip MDT is Greensboro's first, and to date only, Diplomate of the McKenzie Institute. The McKenzie Institute is a leading center for postgraduate study in physical therapy for back and neck pain. The Diploma represents successful completion of the highest level of training offered. In addition, he is the area's leading expert in the use of ultrasound imaging in the rehabilitation of low back pain. This state of the art technique provides biofeedback to insure correct performance when retraining the abdominal and back muscles to properly support the spine.
Cedar Hill Physical Therapy is located in Summerfield, NC, just north of Greensboro. It is located in the home of Paul Weiss and his wife, Angela Cook. After working with Greensboro Orthopaedics for more than a decade, and developing and managing their Spine Physical Therapy program, Paul decided to branch out on his own. Doing so has allowed him to spend more time with his patients. Our office is unique in that only one patient is seen at a time. An hour of one on one time is allowed for each appointment. No aides or assistants are utilized, as all physical therapy services are delivered personally by Paul. Our clinic is set in a relaxed and tranquil environment that is well suited to provide optimal care. Since the clinic is based in our home, we do not set regular business hours. We simply schedule appointments when they are convenient for the patient. (We will see people early in the morning, late in the evening, and on weekends.) We focus on getting people better in as few visits as possible, and giving them the tools needed to improve their condition and keep it from returning. We would rather see 10 people for three visits than three people for 10. Most of our business is generated by word of mouth referrals. We accept most major insurances, as well as Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
