Chavurah Zohar Yisrael

Chavurah Zohar Yisrael is a small but growing traditionally oriented community dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of Jews from all backgrounds in the suburbs of Greater Dallas. Chavurah Zohar Yisrael embraces the values of traditional Judaism as embodied in organizations like the Union for Traditional Judaism while recognizing the value of the Carlebach musical tradition in seeking to energize Jewish life and practice. Chavurah Zohar Yisrael serves Jews living in South Dallas and North East Dallas Counties.  To meet the needs of our members and to serve Jews in typically under represented Jewish areas, we have developed a "mobile" synagogue with rotating services in different parts of the metroplex with the purpose of reaching Jewish families that would otherwise lose out a vibrant Jewish experience.
