About |
I'm Dalton, the founder and builder of the Chefari app, and I wanted
to personally welcome you to the Chefarian community!
This is NOT a sales email, and I'm not asking for your money. I'm
sick and tired of watching millions of people struggle with food the
way I did for 15+ years. Everything I have learned along the way will
be shared freely with you. You deserve accessible information
related to your health, not hidden behind a paywall or
expensive course.
Chefari is the culmination of years of personal struggle,
transformation, and a deep desire to make healthy eating simple
and joyful for everyone. I battled with obesity and chronic
inflammation for most of my life — riddled with cravings, sugar
addiction, chronic fatigue, skin breakouts, brain fog, bloating, and
helplessness. There was so much shame and guilt after eating food.
In March of 2020, I woke up one day and couldn't fit into my XL
sweatpants anymore. This was the wake up call I needed, and the
realization that if I could figure out how to heal myself, I could help
my family who was suffering, too — especially my dad.
I began deeply studying nutrition, metabolic science, and addiction
therapies, learning how to master satiety, nutrient density, and
behavioral psychology. I spoke with medical doctors, registered
dietitians, and licensed nutritionists. I read dozens of books and
studied the latest research papers on the nature of satiety, nutrient
deficiencies, and addiction.
I realized that every nutrition program, fad diet, or food app merely
tells you WHAT to do, but not HOW to do it. If I could just figure out
the HOW — how to realistically implement changes so that they
don't feel drastic, then I could succeed and help others, too.
Fast forward to today... I am blessed to say that I dropped 60
pounds and kept it off for 5 years and counting. Sugar cravings
vanished. Clear skin. Sleeping like a baby. I turned into an energizer
bunny. This achievement was the result of mastering the HOW of
food choices, both when cooking at home and when dining out. I
then used my learnings to show my dad how to eat delicious foods
without feeling deprived or overly restrictive. Over 8 months, my
amazing dad let go of 80+ pounds after battling obesity for 30
years.
And now, I feel that it's my duty to help YOU reach food freedom!
Over the past year, I took all my strategies for food and allergen
management and combined them into a super app to help people
around the world reach food freedom. The support has been
incredible and leaves me in tears every day.
I want you to know that you are not alone. For years, we have been
robbed and lied to — toxic diet culture stole our power to choose
and enjoy food. Nutrition labels and restaurant menus are vague
and confusing to understand. There are so many hurdles that make
long-term habit changes feel IMPOSSIBLE. We don't know what to
believe anymore when that "superfood" yesterday is now a "toxin"
today.
If you feel like you have failed, I need you to know it is NOT your
fault. Research shows that you are more likely to get into an Ivy
League university than you are to sustain healthy eating habits for
at least 1 year.
Nearly all of us have spent most of our lives confused,
overwhelmed, and frustrated with food. Whether you’re dealing
with food allergies, yo-yo dieting, trying to manage a nutritional
deficiency, need some more variety in your diet, or just looking to
make better food choices, Chefari was created to be your little
companion, helping you find the freedom and confidence that
comes from nourishing your body with foods that truly support you.
Take your time exploring the app, and remember: this is your
journey. You’re in control, and Chefari is here to support you every
step of the way.
If you ever have any questions or feedback for how we can make
Chefari more helpful for you, you can literally text me at +1 (617)
870-2810 (this is my real phone number and I will 100% respond).
I'd also love to invite you to our private Chefari Facebook group
where you can connect with the rest of the community! You deserve
a resource that is truly helpful and supportive, and I am committed
to providing that for you.
Thank you for being you :)
Cheers,
Dalton
