About |
We disrupt the master narrative through good storytelling. We work across several platforms – art, education, film, television, live and digital entertainment – to democratize STORY and expand the national canon by accelerating the ideas and public impact of Black voices, including women.
We also provide legal counsel, technical assistance, and financial support to pioneer new artistry and amplify artist impact. We strengthen important cultural works and preserve Black cultural heritage, artworks, history, sacred places, and practices. We are narrative strategists and movement leaders re-imagining and architecting a world of equity and transformative justice.
We are committed to optimal health and intergenerational well-being for people, the community, and the planet. chromatic black™ provides a cross-discipline forum for artists to gather in-person and virtually to organize for cultural power, win change, and power the movement.
We activate the creative sector to mediate change and navigate the challenges of equity and racial injustice across an intersection of issue areas.
chromatic black™ is spearheaded by Abeni Bloodworth, a writer and artist-activist, Angela Harmon, an Emmy-nominated storyteller, filmmaker, and creative director, and Jessica Green, artistic director and curator.
