About

The fact that you found us, tells us that you are concerned and interested in the ecology of the products that you purchase. Also, that you take "fun" seriously -- being "green" doesn't have to be boring.

We started this company because we want to share with you the story of our discovery. In the midst of our travels through Costa Rica we stumbled across an estate hidden deep within the rainforest’s and jungles. The estate, beautiful and secluded, is truly a place of natural wonder. For 70 years it has sustained life in the way the earth intended. Prime elevation, mineral rich soil, natural carbon footprints, and renewable energy sources such as hydroelectricity and solar power, allow the estates plantation to produce what we believe to be the world’s finest coffee.

Our Suppliers
sustainable development
Through our relationship with our suppliers, Chuck and Fred’s Finest demonstrates the real life practice of sustainable development. Through socially responsible, organic coffee and rainforest conservation and research, we live what others merely talk about.

Our coffee is internationally certified as the highest quality estate, organic, shade-grown coffee. It is also USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) Certified Organic.

Environmental Preservation
Ninety percent (90%) of the plantation is protected. It consists of a rich ecosystem that is a sanctuary to diverse flora and fauna which includes more than 400 species of local and migratory birds.
The United Nations and UNESCO declared our supplier's biological corridor to be a World Heritage Site and part of the World Biosphere Reserve.

Social Responsibility
Our supplier's mission is to ensure a high quality of life to employees, producers, and the community by promoting sustainable development, and producing the finest coffee.
Our supplier's operation is a source of work and shelter to indigenous family groups. The protected region ensures the entire area to have a source of unpolluted drinking water through Costa Rica’s largest rural aqueduct system.
