As a non-profit organization, COA's mission is to enrich the lives of Volusia County's most vulnerable elderly citizens by providing needed services that allow them to remain safely in their own homes. From meals to companionship, personal care to housekeeping, handyman to errands & grocery shopping, we care for seniors who need extra help.
COA's skilled staff are background checked to provide the best care by the best people around. We customize services to meet the individual's needs, either short or long term.
COA also manages 4 Senior Centers where local seniors can socialize. With activities from cards to trips, our centers stay active! COA also provides noon time meals to mobile seniors at the 4 senior centers and 3 other dining sites. COA is the Meals on Wheels organization for Volusia County serving hundreds of meals daily to homebound seniors.
With 50 years of service to our community, COA is the resource for senior issues and is available to address topics of importance for media needing to have background information for news stories.
