About

Hi there, I’m Augusto Bartelle. Skydiving is my great passion, and I want to share it with you.

Many people are drawn to the thrill of jumping, but beyond the adrenaline there is a welcoming community – the skydiving family – of people who genuinely care for one another and are dedicated to lifting each other up, motivating each other, and pushing themselves to perform at a higher level. This is why skydiving has become central to my life, and I hope it will play a role in yours, too.

When I began to seriously skydive in California, I was looking for a new path in life. I needed to keep drinking and partying out of my life, and the skydiving community welcomed me with open arms despite my lack of English skills. My entry into the sport gave me goals, motivation, determination, and a global family I didn’t know existed. Now I want to give back.

Skydiving is a sport that requires a lot of planning and preparation. You need other people, and they need you. It doesn’t matter if you are on your first jump or your thousandth – there is always something you can learn from another skydiver. When you join this family or how skydiver call it, sky family, you become connected to every skydiver on the planet. It is a passport to another world and many cultures.

I hope that this blog can be a resource for you: a source of information, inspiration, and connection. No matter what your relationship to skydiving, welcome aboard and blue skies.
