About

Founded in 2012, Community Rowing of San Diego ("CRSD") is a California non-profit public benefit corporation.  CRSD received its 501 (c)(3) designation in May of 2013.  Its mission is to promote and develop scholastic rowing opportunities and to expand the sport of rowing in San Diego.

At CRSD, we will cooperatively develop and implement public school rowing programs and facilities to benefit under-served youth and communities in San Diego.  These programs and activities will help avert the onset of childhood obesity and diabetes while encouraging recreational and competitive prep athletes to strive for excellence and higher education.

CRSD offers Learn-to-Row camps and competitive rowing camps for San Diego area youth ages 12-18.
