The beloved Compute!'s Gazette, an iconic magazine for Commodore users in the 80s/90s, is making its landmark return in July 2025! Published by the new, Texas-based COMPUTE! Publications, Inc., this revival honors its legacy while significantly broadening its scope. Moving beyond a strict Commodore focus (though Commodore platforms remain featured), the new Gazette will celebrate the entire diverse landscape of retro computing, exploring the unique character and potential of various classic machines.

Driven by founder Edwin Nagle's personal passion and nostalgia, the magazine aims to be both "awesome and nostalgic, but also relevant to the modern retro enthusiast." Expect content that inspires, informs (recalling the spirit of the original's tutorials and reviews), and highlights the vibrant community pushing the boundaries of vintage hardware. The goal is a high-quality, sustainable publication offering something tangible.
