About

Our League
Formed as a non-profit organization in January 2013, Conroe Roller Derby (CRD), also known as the Conroe Cutthroats, is a non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3). CRD is dedicated to providing an opportunity for women to challenge themselves physically through the sisterhood of roller derby. CRD encourages leadership, athleticism, and sportsmanship in women of all ages. CRD is also devoted to supporting our local community, fundraising and supporting other non-profit organizations and charities at every opportunity.

Our Members
Our league is owned and operated by athletic, intelligent and fiercely competitive skaters. On average we have 50+ talented skaters and volunteers who live and work in Montgomery County who are educators, nurses, parents, and entrepreneurs from all walks of life. The Cutthroats are different. As skaters, we are competitive women who work to unlock our athletic potential; we are willing to push ourselves physically for the love of the sport. Off the track, we are willing to give altruistically to the betterment of the community. We believe, with conviction, that being part of CRD is one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives.

Community Involvement
The Cutthroats are devoted to supporting local, non-profit organizations at every opportunity. We give our time and talents to raising funds, collecting supplies, and promoting awareness for numerous local charities. Each home bout CRD donates a portion of ticket sales to a local organization.
