AE&T is a licensed civil engineering design firm.   It is a member of the Local 150 IUOE and pre-approved by IDOT for both general and complex Geotechnical Engineering consulting services.

Applied Soil Mechanics of Naperville, IL was established by Max L. Calhoon, P.E., S.E. in 1971 and merged its services with AE&T in 2002. In the past 45 years it has provided geotechnical, environmental and construction engineering and consulting services for over 6500 projects.

It carries General Liability, Professional Liability and Workmen's Compensation insurance.
