In today's world, governments are grappling with new Public Policy issues which are more citizen centric and require complex delivery systems with appropriate legislative back up. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are also progressively getting involved in nation building processes in the Public Policy domain through advocacy for performance and service delivery. The Public Policy apparatus which operates from a domestic centre platform requires to be fine tuned due to the onset of such complex interplay where citizen is the key player. The Centre for Public Policy has been set up with a view to educate bureaucratic community, opinion makers, civil society and NGOs to participate actively in the shaping and operationalising policy issues in the public domain through responsible policy analysis and management tools. The Centre collaborates pro-actively with other similar entities to meet its primary objectives.
