To be honest with you, when I got an assignment to review Cupar Garden Centre’s website, I wasn’t happy at all. I thought it would be another boring, monotonous web site that sells garden stuff online. How wrong was I?

I was very wrong. Sceptically, I began browsing through the site’s content, furious at my boss for getting me on this job. But, then I told myself: think positive. Think as though you’ve never heard of this site before, and that you got here to, actually, get something for your backyard.

Believe it or not, the feeling changed immediately! Not only that I enjoyed looking through the things this company offers, but I eventually found myself stopping my Media Player in order to concentrate on the very same site I rejected the moment before!

I was delighted to discover that this shop offers free (yes, it’s not a typo; it is free!) delivery of the products you order online. And there’s not an asterix (*) saying that “Free delivery occurs only if a purchasing value is over 1 zillion pounds”. No! It is FREE delivery for all the purchases on this web site - and not to mention that there are thousands of products available for ordering.

Now, you probably worry about money processing online, as much as I do. But I really think there are no reasons for worrying this time - someone responsible obviously stood behind this whole project, and invested in an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate - 128 bit encryption, which is currently the safest secure server on Earth for making payments online. Do aliens know better?

Following my remarks of this web site, should I even bother saying how low prices actually are? Price is probably THE thing which turns on that thingy in your brain telling you whether to buy this product or not. Believe me, that thing will say “for heaven’s sake, don’t you see?! Now let me sleep!”. When I was looking over the prices, I first thought it was a joke. But no - prices really are that low. Besides, there are always “special offers” which take care that you don’t come back home with your wallet as empty as black hole.

One more thing: if you hurry up, maybe you’ll still be able to get in time for “Christmas at Cupar”. No more spoilers!
