About

A world class entertainer, Danny D has been playing, singing and writing music all his life. As a young man growing up in the heart of Motown, he formed his own group headlining shows in and around the globe. The Vagabonds, Danny D's live band, have opened for and worked with Uncle Kracker, The Tubes, Mitch Ryder, Bad Company, David Lee Roth, The Romantics, Air Supply, Steven Tyler, and The Silver Bullet Band. On Danny D's latest original CD Still Got The Boy In Me, Danny D has the best of the best Detroit names collaborating with him creating a rich, "Detroit sounds" tapestry: Drew Abbott, Robyn Robyns, Alto Reed, and Shaun Murphy (all Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band alumni), Tino Gross (Howling Diablos), Mark Farner (Grand Funk), Johnnie Bassett (blues legend), Paul Warren (Rod Stewart's guitarist), Jimmie Bones (Kid Rock), and Hush (Eminem).

The Vagabonds are Danny D's band, composed of veteran musicians: guitarist James Niemi, Darryl Lee on bass, drummer Paul Sikorski, and on keyboards Bruce Neault. See Danny D and the Vagabonds perform routinely from Metropolitan Detroit to all over the globe, venues large and small. The Rod Stewart Tribute Show can do anything from one song to three 60-minute sets, track shows or live band performances. Not only do these guys perform the greatest Rod Stewart tribute in the world, they have a fantastic repertoire of classic covers and original music. Top accolade- Danny D has been the only Rod Stewart impersonator to ever be pulled up on stage by Rod Stewart—to close the show with Do You Think I'm Sexy? to a sold-out, wildly cheering crowd at DTE Energy Theatre (Pine Knob) in Clarkston, MI.
