Dawsons Music Ltd is a multi-channel musical instrument retailer based in Warrington, Cheshire, UK, boasting an industry leading e-commerce platform as well as six high street stores across the UK, and an Education division catering to a global client base.

Established in 1989 by Piano Tuner John Dawson, a Warrington local who recognised the need to provide high quality instruments to his growing list of customers, Dawsons Music has navigated the ever-changing landscape of retail for over 100 years.

Throughout its history the company has embraced change, opting to be an innovator and market leader rather than a follower. One of the first in its industry to make the move online in the late 1990s and then adopting technological advances in recent years with ‘GoInStore’ to provide a unique customer through wearable technology to connect visitors via the Dawsons Music website directly to in-store specialists.

Recently acquired by SKG Capital Partners, Dawsons Music is poised to stride confidently into the future thanks to a newly appointed, dynamic leadership team. Moving forward their aim is to become an inclusive resource within the online music community whilst building upon its trusted High Street presence.

With a commitment to supporting musicians throughout their life from early years to seasoned professionals, through in-store events and online engagement, Dawsons aims to be the first port of call for musicians across all abilities, ages, and skill levels.

Pushing forward into a new era, Dawsons Music is committed to supporting the next generation by offering a platform for them to showcase their music, as well as sound advice when it comes to gear. Driving this ambition is a team of creatives with experience across advertising, filmmaking, music production, photography, sound engineering, and so much more, all of whom are experienced musicians with a passion for seeking out and promoting fresh musical talent, generating engaging content, and connecting musicians with the gear that will help them to achieve their dreams.
