About

Please allow me to make this introduction:  My name is David Loring.  I have many years experience as a writer, lecturer and safety engineer.  My most recent project has been to author “Survival: Lifestyle to Artform.” This book although not a direct result of tragedies like hurricane Katrina and the heinous attack of all, was greatly influenced thereby.

In the interest of Public Safety, community education and the advance of knowledge, I provide educational seminars that prepare citizens for those inevitable emergencies and crisis that demote modern life.

It is my desire and intent to propose to you an opportunity to make myself available to your community through the good offices of your institution. I should like to discuss with you, at your earliest opportunity, my services.  Students and the community at large would learn to prepare for and respond to, the many emergency situations attendant to modern life.  Subjects such as improvised lighting, food, first aid, and communications are covered.

I have spoke at many schools and colleges, can provide numerous references, and am currently working with PBS on a proposed project dealing with this vital subject.
