disABLEDperson,  Inc. a 501 (c ) 3 Public Charity whose mission is to reduce the high unemployment rate of individuals with disabilities. We accomplish this in a number of different ways: The first is  through our job portals: www.disABLEDperson.com for individuals in the general population & Job Opportunities for Disabled American Veteran / www.JOFDAV.com for Disabled American Veterans. Each board is pervasive within its respective community.

www.disABLEDperson.com in 2014 averaged over 69,000 Unique Visitors per month with over 3500 new Registrations per month and over 700,000 job views per month.

www.JOFDAV.com in 2014 averaged over 55,000 Unique Visitors per month with over 3000 new Registrations per month and over 500,000 job views per month.

Each board receives over 100,000 new job postings per month. Jobs posted to our boards are also seen on SimplyHired.com, GlassDoor.com, JuJu.com, JobInventory.com, CareerBliss.com CareerAlerts.com as well as many state workforce development sites.

disABLEDperson, Inc. is in partnership with the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation and EARN. We are listed as a resource on the U.S. Department of Labor, OFCCP resource page: Resources for Federal Contractors Section 503 and VEVRAA at http://www.dol.gov/ofccp/regs/compliance/resources_recruit_disability.htm .

The second way we accomplish our mission is through the 2 national scholarship competitions we put on annually for college students with disabilities.

Thirdly, through our Microsoft IT Academy Programs: Program 1 is we offer to state Departments of Vocational Rehabilitation as a free public service the opportunity for their respective consumers to gain marketable job skills in Microsoft Software products . Program 2, is specific for our country's Heroes, Wounded Warriors. The WWs enter the program to gain marketable job skills to enter the workforce as they transition out of the military. This too is offered as a free public service.

Finally, we are a philanthropic organization, helping individuals with disabilities on a case by case basis with needs.
